How it's worked out
Every Mounjaro KwikPen gives a full labelled dose in 60 clicks, whatever its strength. To get a 2.5mg dose from a 10mg pen you take the fraction of a full dose you need and multiply by 60:
(2.5 ÷ 10) × 60 = 15 clicks
That works out to about 0.167mg per click, or 0.15ml for the whole 2.5mg dose. Because you're dialling less than the pen's full 10mg dose, a single pen stretches to roughly 16 doses of 2.5mg — about 16 weeks if you inject once a week, versus four weeks at the full dose.
