How it's worked out
Every Mounjaro KwikPen gives a full labelled dose in 60 clicks, whatever its strength. To get a 12.5mg dose from a 15mg pen you take the fraction of a full dose you need and multiply by 60:
(12.5 ÷ 15) × 60 = 50 clicks
That works out to about 0.250mg per click, or 0.5ml for the whole 12.5mg dose. Because you're dialling less than the pen's full 15mg dose, a single pen stretches to roughly 4 doses of 12.5mg — about 4 weeks if you inject once a week, versus four weeks at the full dose.
